神的爱

神 爱 世 人 ， 甚 至 将 他 的 独 生 子 赐 给 他 们 ， 叫 一 切 信 他 的 ， 不 至 灭 亡 ， 反 得 永 生 。

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

人 为 朋 友 舍 命 ， 人 的 爱 心 没 有 比 这 个 大 的 。

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

惟 有 基 督 在 我 们 还 作 罪 人 的 时 候 为 我 们 死 ， 神 的 爱 就 在 此 向 我 们 显 明 了 。

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

神 差 他 独 生 子 到 世 间 来 ， 使 我 们 借 着 他 得 生 ， 神 爱 我 们 的 心 ， 在 此 就 显 明 了 。

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him。

不 是 我 们 爱 神 ， 乃 是 神 爱 我 们 ， 差 他 的 儿 子 ， 为 我 们 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭 ， 这 就 是 爱 了 。

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

谁 能 使 我 们 与 基 督 的 爱 隔 绝 呢 ？ 难 道 是 患 难 吗 ？ 是 困 苦 吗 ？ 是 逼 迫 吗 ？ 是 饥 饿 吗 ？ 是 赤 身 露 体 吗 ？ 是 危 险 吗 ？ 是 刀 剑 吗 ？

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

因 为 我 深 信 无 论 是 死 ， 是 生 ， 是 天 使 ， 是 掌 权 的 ， 是 有 能 的 ， 是 现 在 的 事 ， 是 将 来 的 事 ，

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

是 高 处 的 ， 是 低 处 的 ， 是 别 的 受 造 之 物 ， 都 不 能 叫 我 们 与 神 的 爱 隔 绝 。 这 爱 是 在 我 们 的 主 基 督 耶 稣 里 的 。

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

然 而 神 既 有 丰 富 的 怜 悯 。 因 他 爱 我 们 的 大 爱 ，

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

当 我 们 死 在 过 犯 中 的 时 候 ， 便 叫 我 们 与 基 督 一 同 活 过 来 。 （ 你 们 得 救 是 本 乎 恩 ）

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

他 又 叫 我 们 与 基 督 耶 稣 一 同 复 活 ， 一 同 坐 在 天 上 ，

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

要 将 他 极 丰 富 的 恩 典 ， 就 是 他 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 向 我 们 所 施 的 恩 慈 ， 显 明 给 后 来 的 世 代 看 。

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

你 看 父 赐 给 我 们 是 何 等 的 慈 爱 ， 使 我 们 得 称 为 神 的 儿 女 。 我 们 也 真 是 他 的 儿 女 。

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God...

爱的命令

你 们 要 彼 此 相 爱 ， 像 我 爱 你 们 一 样 ， 这 就 是 我 的 命 令 。

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

我 这 样 吩 咐 你 们 ， 是 要 叫 你 们 彼 此 相 爱。

These things I command you, that ye love one another.

爱 是 不 加 害 与 人 的 ， 所 以 爱 就 完 全 了 律 法 。

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

我 若 能 说 万 人 的 方 言 ， 并 天 使 的 话 语 却 没 有 爱 ， 我 就 成 了 鸣 的 锣 ， 响 的 钹

一 般

If I make use of the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am like sounding brass, or a loud-tongued bell.

我 若 有 先 知 讲 道 之 能 ， 也 明 白 各 样 的 奥 秘 ， 各 样 的 知 识 。 而 且 有 全 备 的 信 ， 叫 我 能 够 移 山 ， 却 没 有 爱 ， 我 就 算 不 得 什 么 。

And if I have a prophet's power, and have knowledge of all secret things; and if I have all faith, by which mountains may be moved from their place, but have not love, I am nothing.

我 若 将 所 有 的 周 济 穷 人 ， 又 舍 己 身 叫 人 焚 烧 ， 却 没 有 爱 ， 仍 然 与 我 无 益 。

And if I give all my goods to the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it is of no profit to me.

爱 是 恒 久 忍 耐 ， 又 有 恩 慈 。 爱 是 不 嫉 妒 。 爱 是 不 自 夸 。 不 张 狂 。

Love is never tired of waiting; love is kind; love has no envy; love has no high opinion of itself, love has no pride;

不 作 害 羞 的 事 。 不 求 自 己 的 益 处 。 不 轻 易 发 怒 。 不 计 算 人 的 恶 。

Love's ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil;

不 喜 欢 不 义 。 只 喜 欢 真 理 。

It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true;

凡 事 包 容 。 凡 事 相 信 。 凡 事 盼 望 。 凡 事 忍 耐 。

Love has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things.

爱 是 永 不 止 息 。 先 知 讲 道 之 能 ， 终 必 归 于 无 有 。 说 方 言 之 能 ， 终 必 停 止 ， 知 识 也 终 必 归 于 无 有 。

Though the prophet's word may come to an end, tongues come to nothing, and knowledge have no more value, love has no end.

凡 你 们 所 作 的 ， 都 要 凭 爱 心 而 作 。

Let all you do be done in love.

因 为 全 律 法 都 包 在 爱 人 如 己 这 一 句 话 之 内 了 。

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

我 们 爱 ， 因 为 神 先 爱 我 们 。

We love, because he first loved us.
